Great content, great app. Can now remove issues once youre finished with them.

No opportunity to log in and enter subscriber info. Only the option to buy a subscription which I already have.
Im a regular subscriber and recently (6 months ago) started using the app. Was initially happy with it, however in past two months can barely use it -- goes blank/white when you click between pages or crashes abruptly. Terrible, read the nyer app instead.
I just want one issue from 1930. Its not even possible, yet youve blocked researchers from accessing it any other way (digitally) by locking single issue sales to this awful app.
Im a long-time subscriber. There is no way for me to log in using my subscription. So, this app is rather useless.
That’s my trouble too—blank, then crash. I need to continually re-download it. Irk. Failing that, try wrestling with it on a browser. Or simply avoid reading it all together.
They need to fix this.
They must be joking. This is truly the worst app ever! I downloaded it multiple times and still cant get it to work. Called Harpers only to be told I have to email their technical team. So much for a deal on digital and print editions. Im cancelling.
Totally unusable
Doesnt seem to be any way to log into my subscription from my iPad. This app gives me the option to subscribe, but Im already a subscriber; I just want to log in so that I can read all of the articles, not just a few samples.
The app wont let me scroll down to choose an issue to read. I shouldve read all the other terrible reviews before subscribing.
Log in by selecting Back Issues then Subscription. Scroll down to put in your email and password. Agree this should be made much more obvious to new App users.
This app is not like what they describe on the Harpers website. The features that they claim the app has do not exist. Yes, I have been able to download and read the latest issue of the magazine each time a new one is published. But the app is so rudimentary that it is absolutely not worth it. They also promise that you will be able to log on to the website and access all the online archives. I have been unable to do so. I have exchanged emails with Harpers about this, and they have NOT been helpful. Overall this is a poor product. Dont subject yourself to the frustration. It has ruined my reading enjoyment.
